“This was a wonderful experience, socially and musically! It gave me a place to learn new songs and sing with like-minded people in a setting that was warm and welcoming. A perfect way to spend Monday nights.”

Hear What We Do
We spend ten weeks learning harmonies and parts, lyrics and rhythm. We put it all together and by the end of the season we adore each other, we’ve had a lovely time, and we sound like this.
Hear What We Do
More than anything, our top goal which we succeed at every single week, is having a lovely time singing together. Here are a few informal recordings for you to get a sense of what we do together each week.
Do You Have Questions?
Singing for joy, community, and connection — by the river and from the heart.
Our community choir gathers on Mondays in 8-10 week quarters from September through June to lift our voices together in song. We sing folk and traditional tunes, simple harmonies, and songs that speak to the soul — all taught in the oral tradition, with no sheet music and no auditions. Just come as you are, and sing.
If you have questions, please ask. We want you to be comfortable and happy. If you have ideas, we want to hear ‘em.
All voices are welcome. Beginners too.
Because singing together is for everyone.
“I enjoyed learning truly beautiful songs that stir the heart. Gathering with lovely people, and raising our voices together! ✨
”
“Having sung in choirs as a kids and into high school, I really enjoyed this as an adult. It really exercised my brain to learn new songs and melodies. I love singing with other people.
”
“Choir is a beautiful way to connect with others on such a heart level, without needing to do anything other than raise your voice in song. It is so cathartic and soul nourishing. A beautiful way to begin the week, and something to look forward to!”
The Riverside Sing at the Leo Coffeehouse
Walk on Home – Live at the Leo Coffeehouse | March 2025
The first rule of The Riverside Sing is that you don’t have to perform! But a few folks volunteered to joined April on stage for this heartfelt performance of her original song, Walk on Home, at the Leo Coffeehouse in Cincinnati.
It was a beautiful evening of music and community — thank you to the amazing audience and to everyone who sings with us by the river.
