Sing in Christmas, Solstice, & New Years this December
Join us in singing old Christmas carols, songs for the solstice, and to ring in the New Year this December just for the joy of singing in community.
The Riverside Sing is offering a “Christmas/Solstice Choir” on Monday evenings 7-8:15 December: 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd at The Carnegie Center in Columbia-Tusculum. The songs won’t be non-denominational like our other Sings because Christ-mas , but it will not be specifically religious. We’ll also sing songs celebrating solstice and the darkest days of the year. A percentage of all funds for this choir will be donated to The FreeStore Foodbank.
Gather near the river in Columbia-Tusculum this December for four evenings of song
and cheer. Led by April Combs Mann, the Christmas Choir is a special seasonal offering of The Cinci Sing—a place to lift your voice in traditional English carols, solstice songs,
and tunes for the turning of the year. No auditions, no pressure—just the joy of singing together through the winter season, surrounded by good company in community at
its best.
